Jia “Scarlett” Wei, B.Sc. BME PhD student (2023/8–), [email protected]

Scarlett received B.Sc. from Union College and joined us in August, 2023. She is working on a photon counting CT project. Scarlett is in the third year in the PhD program and the first year in the Medical Physics Certificate program. She has presented her paper at SPIE Medical Imaging 2025 as oral presentation in February, 2025, and someone said it was the best paper in the conference. Yay!

Scarlett has passed her DBO (Doctoral Board Oral) exam in June, 2025, and been a great mentor for junior students. Scarlett is also one of three members of Medical Physics Program’s Student Social Activity Organizer. Thank you for leading the way; we are so proud of you, Scarlett! 😊
